Responsibilities of Ticketing Agent:
- They are communicating with customers to answer questions about tickets, pricing, or flight schedules.
- Scheduling flights based on customer needs and available flights, including checking weather conditions and making changes as needed.
- Collecting customer payment for airline tickets, including cash, credit card transactions, checks, or money orders.
- Explaining airport rules and procedures to passengers prior to boarding flights.
- Processing refunds for lost or damaged tickets or reservation errors.
- Explaining applicable fees and taxes for each ticket.
Skills Required for Ticketing Agent:
- Good Communication skills and basic mathematical skills.
- Having excellent experience in verbal as well as email communication.
- Candidates are required to demonstrate a basic knowledge of computers and good Typing skills.
- Excellent Interpersonal Skills.
