An GSA (Guest Service Associates) is responsible for ensuring excellent service, maintaining cleanliness, and delivering a positive dining experience to guests. They work in restaurants, cafes, hotels, or other food service settings, supporting both the kitchen and front-of-house teams.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor.
- Take and serve orders accurately and promptly.
- Ensure proper food presentation and timely delivery.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve complaints efficiently.
- Assist in preparing simple beverages or food items as needed.
- Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
- Process bills and payments accurately using POS systems.
Requirement
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- A diploma or certification in hospitality or food service is a plus.
- On-the-job training may be provided.
- A positive and professional attitude.
